The independent nature of our feline friends can make them the ideal pets for people who work long hours or don’t have the time to dedicate to their canine counterparts. Cats are graceful, elegant and a little bit aloof. It is this attitude that endears them to their human owners. One moment they’ll be enjoying the chin rubs that you’re providing and the next they are turning their nose up at you in disgust and strolling away. Cats know what they want and when they want it. They are stubborn and willful. However, they can also be devious and seemingly conscious of when their actions frustrate the bejesus out of you. Take a look at these typical feline traits and see if your moggy goes out of his way to annoy you.

While you may find yourself lucky and not the proud owner of a cat that scratches every piece of furniture you own, you may have a feline, like the one seen at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9fX-EA3_JM, who tends to scratch at closed doors. If you put up a barrier between yourself and your cat, you may think that your moggy mate cannot bear to be parted from you and decides to scratch like a beast at the door. Sadly, you’d be wrong. Your cat couldn’t care less that you’re the other side of the door, they simply don’t want to be missing out on any of the action. They like things on their terms and want to be in control of their territory. The moment you reopen the door, you may reach down to give your four-legged friend a stroke, only to receive a hiss in response.

Have you ever taken a shower, only for your beloved little fur ball to begin moaning, wailing and meowing away like you had deserted him forever? You finally get into the shower after a long hard day at work, and your feline begins wailing at the very same moment you begin lathering up your hair. Is this a coincidence or does he know what he’s doing? If you’re one of those owners that put human emotions and sensibilities onto their pet, there’s no doubt that you look into your kitty’s eyes and deem that he knows exactly what he is doing. He’s going out of his way to frustrate you. He knows that you love him so much that you’ll venture out the shower with your hair fully soaped to check on his well being. You hate to hear him moan and he knows it.

Your cat may have a favorite food. To save a bit of cash, you go out of your way to bulk buy his delicious morsels only to open a new can and for him to turn his nose up at it. You swear he’s seen the bulk buy and he’s decided to opt for a new culinary experience just to spite you. When you try and hide their monthly flea tablet into their grub, they give it a sniff and walk away. They know your ploy. Instead, you should head over to https://www.petcarerx.com/comfortis-flea-preventative/13045 and locate a tastier medical morsel to hide in a spot of tuna or chicken. It doesn’t happen too often, but as you watch your cat wolf it down, you can enjoy basking in the glory of getting one over on your pet.

Although we joke about the fickle, aloof and devious nature of our feline friends, we wouldn’t have it any other way. They keep us on our toes, are a delight to look after and make the purr-fect pets.
