When it comes to moderation, too much of anything (no matter how “healthy”) is bad for you, but an occasional snack is no crime. That’s why balance is important: you should be ensuring you’re getting all the nutrients, protein, and vitamins your body needs without overdoing it on carbohydrates. Lastly, consistency is essential if you want to keep your body in a stable, healthy state; find an eating pattern which works for you on a permanent basis. You can still eat meat, but you could try stuffing pork or chicken with nuts to keep your heart healthy. Alternatively, you could eat meat on fewer days during the week. It’s all about moderating your diet to maintain a healthy body. Variety is important, as long as you’re only eating a little bit of everything.
