Hershey Kisses were first introduced in 1907. It is believed that the candy was named Kisses because of the sound and motion made by machine while depositing the chocolate. At first, the Hershey Kisses were wrapped by hand, but in 1921, a machine was made so the Kisses would be wrapped automatically!!
Fast Forward 95 years later to 2016!! Hershey’s Kisses are STILL around, and they come with fun and festive Christmas wrappers like Santa Hats, “Kissmas” Gift, “Kissmas” Tree and “Kissmas” Sweater! They’re perfect for yourself or for sharing, and their classic milk chocolate taste is sure to please almost everyone!!
I love Hershey chocolate. We only live a couple of hours away from Hershey, PA, and have visited the park and Chocolate Factory many times!! I love taking the factory tour and getting fresh chocolate to sample at the end!! I could spend countless hours in their gift shop!! It is truly one of the largest gift shops I’ve ever seen!!
These Christmas Kisses remind me of that!! They taste incredibly fresh, like they’re right from the factory!! You can smell the mouthwatering chocolate even before you open the bag, and I couldn’t unwrap them fast enough!! They smelled so delicious that I wanted to devour the entire bag and not stop!!
Hershey Kisses make a wonderful stocking stuffer!! They’re PERFECT to fill holiday candy dishes with. They’re also a necessity if you make “Hershey Kiss Cookies” – they’re my Amanda’s FAVORITE, so I am sure to make them every year!! You can buy Hershey Kisses at your favorite grocery and retail stores!!
Be sure to follow Hershey on your favorite social media sites below to stay up-to-date with them and their latest products and news, and be sure to leave some out for Santa on Christmas Eve!!
