i was trying to get out of the bank and finally someone let me out so i could get on my mary way,lol, i was there forever.
A young man held the door for me, what use to be common courtesy rarely happens anymore.
A customer service agent actually helped me!!
i had a flat tire and didn’t know it and a family friend drove by and called me to tell me and to change the tire for me. One don’t find friends like that everyday.
Wow, it just struck me how sad it is that it is taking me so long to come up with an answer to that question. I did have a friend who brought me some chocolate the last time she came to visit. That was literally weeks ago.
during casual conversation with my mom’s friend’s daughter we discussed that we wanted to someday clear out our houses of excess holiday decorations and stuff. she also knew that i am unable to carry boxes due to back damage. when she found out i was laid off from work she came to my house for 6 or 7 afternoons and we boxed up of all kinds of stuff and i donated it to a thrift store. she refused to take anything other than a bedsheet and a candy dish she knew her dad could use and a couple Diet Dews.
I was having a bad day and one of my coworkers brought me a Starbucks coffee. It made my day better!
