Today I looked at the meal I prepared for dinner I thought WOW, has my diet changed over the past three weeks!! I used to eat two and sometimes even three servings at dinner time ~ There would NEVER be any leftovers. I used to eat a TON of carbs and my plate overflowed with calories…Now I find myself counting calories.
This week we went to Chili’s ~ Patti had a gift card from BlogHer so I met her and Alli there after dinner Thursday night. I ordered off of their lighter choices menu. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken, and was shocked when I saw it had 750 calories!! That is the most calories I have eaten at once since I started Nutrisystem, and I felt so full, bloated and tired when I left there.
I am finding that my energy level is now a lot higher in the mid afternoon around 3 PM when I used to get so tired. I think it’s because of way the Nutrisystem meals are spread out throughout the day. I constantly have fuel to burn, and it is speeding up my metabolism. I don’t feel full after I am done eating but I am not hungry either. My wife tempts me with her homemade cooking and I have to admit I did eat a homemade chocolate chip cookie this week but I think I deserve it because as of today I’m down 14 lbs ~ Can I get a hell yeah??
Here is what a typical dinner looks like…I start with the Nutrisystem meal which you just pop in the microwave. I add my own smart carbs and vegetables, and added a dash of fat free dressing to my veggies to give them a little flavor!!
I just finished my 3rd week, and this week my measurements are:

I am anxiously awaiting my next delivery from Nutrisystem. I am starting to get nervous because I only have a few days worth of meals left so I hope my packages arrive soon.

You’re doing great, Tim! I’m sure it’s not easy but I’m so impressed to see you stick with it. I’ll be looking for less and less of you soon! Maggie
Yeah Tim! Great job! I love watching success!
Wow, that’s awesome!
Way to go, Tim! I am right here with you. I didn’t lose any this week, my 3rd week, but I lost some on the tape measure, and I am encouraged by 12 lbs lost
Hell YEAH and Thumbs up TIM!!! I think its time to get a new shirt cuz that one is looking kinda loose and big!! I agree with you so much on the carb thing. Once you don’t eat them and then go back..you realize how crappy they are making you feel right? KEEP UP THE GREAT GREAT WORK! GO TEAM TIM!
Good job! My weight-loss program keeps getting interrupted by travel. Also, I won’t lose weight unless I stick to something less than 1200 calories a day. I worked hard and lost about 20 pounds, then gained back 5, though my clothes indicate I haven’t gained back inches. Anyway–only 50 pounds to go. Well, OK–70. Good luck to you. Stick with it!
